October IPO Rush: 12 Companies, One Historic Debut

October 2026 sees 12 IPOs including Jio Platforms (opening Oct 21, targeting ₹30,200 crore) and Zetwerk (opening Oct 15, targeting ₹5,000 crore). India has already raised ₹1.1 lakh crore through 96 IPOs in 2026. Full list and key dates here.

India’s primary market is not taking a break. A dozen companies, including Jio Platforms, Zetwerk Manufacturing Business, and Avaada Electro, are set to tap the primary market in October to raise funds through IPOs, extending 2026’s strong fundraising momentum.

The pipeline comes after companies raised over ₹1.1 lakh crore through 96 IPOs so far in 2026, including 35 issues launched in September alone. That’s a staggering pace and October shows no signs of slowing down.

The One Everyone’s Watching: Jio Platforms

The headline act of the month is Jio Platforms. The IPO subscription window is scheduled to open October 21 and close October 23, 2026, with shares expected to begin trading on the BSE and NSE on October 28.
Jio Platforms is reportedly considering a price band of ₹1,065–₹1,119 per share, targeting a valuation of up to ₹10.3 lakh crore and an estimated fundraise of ₹30,200 crore. At that size, it will comfortably become India’s largest-ever IPO.
Reliance Industries owns about 66.4 per cent of Jio Platforms, with Meta and Google together holding about 17.7 per cent, according to the draft prospectus. The company has concluded its global roadshows across major financial markets and is expected to file final papers with SEBI in the week starting October 12.
Grey market premiums for Jio Platforms were quoted in the ₹160–170 range as of early October 2026 signalling bullish pre-subscription sentiment among retail investors.

Zetwerk: The Manufacturing Unicorn Joins In

Right behind Jio is Zetwerk Manufacturing Business one of India’s most valuable B2B manufacturing startups. Zetwerk is planning to raise around ₹5,000 crore through its IPO, with the issue scheduled to open on October 15 and close on October 19. The company is targeting a valuation of ₹27,000 crore.
Zetwerk runs a technology platform that connects manufacturers with customers across sectors including aerospace, consumer electronics, and home appliances making it a fairly unique play on India’s manufacturing story.

Others in the October Queue

Sahajanand Medical Technologies’ IPO an OFS of 1.38 crore shares is also scheduled to open on October 15 and close on October 19. The Surat-based company is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of drug-eluting stents and other cardiovascular devices, with a strong export footprint.
Other names in the pipeline for October include Avaada Electro, HD Fire Protect, Fusion CX, Tonbo Imaging, Bonfiglioli Transmissions, Paras Healthcare, and NDR InvIT Trust - a solid mix of manufacturing, healthcare, services, and infrastructure plays.

What Investors Should Keep in Mind

The sheer volume of IPOs hitting the market in one month means investors need to be more selective than ever. Investor behaviour is shifting from momentum-driven to quality- and valuation-driven. Companies with earnings visibility, sound corporate governance, and capital efficiency are likely to attract stronger investor interest.
With Jio Platforms anchoring the month, October 2026 could go down as one of the most significant periods in the history of Indian primary markets. But not every IPO will be a Jio and that distinction matters now more than ever.
