Denta Water and Infra Solutions Limited was incorporated in 2016 and is headquartered in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru, Karnataka. It works in the water engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) sector.
The company designs, installs, and commissions water management infrastructure projects, with expertise in groundwater recharging using recycled water and lift irrigation projects, and undertakes work spanning preliminary investigations, feasibility studies, planning, field surveys, design, and execution on a concept-to-commissioning basis. It has also worked on projects related to railways and highways. Major projects include Byrapura, Hiremagaluru LIS, and KC Valley, which contribute to Bengaluru's wastewater management and support the government's Jal Jeevan Mission. The company relies heavily on government clients, particularly the Government of Karnataka, which accounted for 63.40% of revenue from operations in FY24. As of November 30, 2024, its order book stood at more than Rs 752 crore.
Revenue from operations rose from Rs 119.57 crore in FY22 to Rs 174.32 crore in FY23 to Rs 238.60 crore in FY24, while profit after tax rose from Rs 38.34 crore to Rs 50.11 crore to Rs 59.72 crore over the same period. The IPO was a mainboard issue entirely comprising a fresh issue of up to 75,00,000 equity shares at a price band of Rs 279 to Rs 294 per share, aggregating to about Rs 220.50 crore, listed on the BSE and NSE. As per the RHP, about Rs 150 crore from the proceeds was proposed to be used for meeting working capital requirements, with the balance for general corporate purposes.
