India's railways move over 13 million people every day and behind the scenes, companies like IC Electricals Company Limited keep the electrical systems running safely and reliably. Incorporated in 2005 and headquartered in New Delhi, IC Electricals has spent two decades building a focused, credible presence in the railway electronics and electrification space. The company operates across two complementary verticals manufacturing electronic equipment for railway applications and executing turnkey electrification projects for Indian Railways. On the manufacturing side, its product range covers regulators, battery chargers, emergency lights, inverters, microprocessor-based control systems, vigilance control devices, alternators, traction motors, and permanent magnet alternators with controllers all built to the latest Railway technical standards. On the project side, the company handles complete 25 kV AC overhead electrification schemes from design and supply right through to testing and commissioning. The order book as of August 2025 stood at ₹158.48 crore across product and project divisions the bulk of it from government and railway contracts, which speaks to the institutional trust the company has earned over the years. Financially, FY25 saw revenue grow 23% while profit after tax jumped 104% a sharp improvement driven by better execution and operating leverage.
