Quadrant Future Tek IPO - Listing Performance & Details

Quadrant Future Tek Limited was incorporated as Quadrant Cables Private Limited on September 18, 2015 at Chandigarh, later renamed Quadrant Future Tek Private Limited, and converted to a public limited company in October 2021. It is headquartered in Village Basma, Tehsil Banur, Mohali, Punjab, and works in the railway signalling and specialty cable manufacturing sector.

The company develops Train Control and Signalling Systems, including work related to the Indian Railways' KAVACH automatic train protection project, and operates a specialty cable manufacturing facility with an Electron Beam Irradiation Centre. Its cables are used in railway rolling stock and the naval defence sector, and the facility also has capabilities for producing solar and EV cables. The company has additional design centres in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and Hyderabad, Telangana. As of October 2024, it had 295 employees. Satish Gupta serves as Independent Chairman of the company.

Revenue from operations rose to Rs 151.75 crore in FY24 from Rs 150.80 crore in FY23, while profit rose to Rs 14.71 crore from Rs 13.90 crore over the same period. The IPO was a mainboard, book-built issue entirely comprising a fresh issue of 1,00,00,000 equity shares at a price band of Rs 275 to Rs 290 per share, aggregating to about Rs 290 crore, listed on the BSE and NSE. As per the RHP, net proceeds were proposed to be used for funding long-term working capital requirements, capital expenditure for development of an Electronic Interlocking System, prepayment or repayment of an outstanding working capital term loan, and general corporate purposes.
