Amanta Healthcare Limited was incorporated in December 1994 and is headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It works in the pharmaceutical sector, developing, manufacturing and marketing sterile liquid products.
The company makes parenteral products packaged in plastic containers using Aseptic Blow-Fill-Seal (ABFS) and Injection Stretch Blow Moulding (ISBM) technologies, including IV fluids, diluents, ophthalmic solutions, respiratory care products, irrigation solutions and eye lubricants, spanning six therapeutic areas. Its products cover both large and small-volume parenterals as well as medical devices, sold to both domestic and international customers, with the company noting some dependence on a small number of significant overseas clients. The promoters are Bhavesh Patel, Vishal Patel, Jayshreeben Patel, Jitendrakumar Patel and Milcent Appliances Private Limited.
Revenue declined by about 2% while profit after tax rose by about 189% between FY24 and FY25, as per the RHP; the company had also seen FY23 and FY24 profitability affected by reversals related to MAT (minimum alternate tax) incentives. The IPO was a mainboard book-built issue of Rs 126 crore on the NSE and BSE, structured entirely as a fresh issue of up to 1,00,00,000 equity shares of face value Rs 10 each, priced at Rs 120-126 per share, and it listed on 9 September 2025. Net proceeds from the fresh issue were earmarked for civil construction work and purchase of equipment, plant and machinery to set up a new manufacturing line, "SteriPort," at Hariyala village in Kheda district, Gujarat.
