Belrise Industries Limited was incorporated in 1988 and is headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra. It works in the automotive component manufacturing sector, focused on precision sheet metal pressing and fabrication.
The company manufactures safety-critical automotive systems, including chassis, body-in-white, exhaust, polymer, and suspension systems, for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, commercial vehicles, and agricultural vehicles, with a product portfolio that is largely agnostic to powertrain type and supports both electric and internal combustion engine vehicles. It operates 15 manufacturing facilities across nine cities in eight states, located near major OEM hubs such as Pune, Bhiwadi, Chennai, and Narasapura, producing more than 1,000 distinct products. The company holds a 24% market share in India's two-wheeler metal components segment as of FY24, and supplies to 29 global OEMs including Bajaj Auto, Honda, Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp, and Jaguar Land Rover. The promoters are Shrikant Shankar Badve, Sumedh Shrikant Badve, and Supriya Shrikant Badve.
Revenue from operations rose to Rs 7,484.24 crore in FY24 from Rs 6,582.50 crore in FY23, while profit after tax was Rs 310.88 crore in FY24, compared with Rs 313.66 crore in FY23. The IPO was a mainboard, book-built issue comprising a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to Rs 2,150 crore, at a price band of Rs 85 to Rs 90 per share, listed on the BSE and NSE. As per the RHP, about Rs 1,618.13 crore from the net proceeds was proposed to be used to repay or prepay, in full or part, certain outstanding borrowings of the company, with the balance for general corporate purposes.
