Excelsoft Technologies Limited was incorporated in 2000 and is headquartered in Mysuru, Karnataka. It works as a global vertical SaaS company in the learning and assessment technology sector.
The company builds technology-based and AI-driven solutions for digital learning, assessment and content delivery, including its Saras Learning Platform, Saras Assessments, Saras Content Management System and the AIlevate AI platform. Its offerings span educational technology services and AI-based assessment and proctoring solutions used by qualifications and certification bodies, government entities, school assessment boards and corporates. As of December 2024, it served 71 clients across 17 countries including the US, UK, India, Singapore, Australia and Japan, with Pearson Education Group accounting for a large share of its revenue. The company is led by Dhananjaya Sudhanva as Chairman and Managing Director, and the promoters are Pedanta Technologies Private Limited and Dhananjaya Sudhanva.
Revenue from operations rose from Rs 195.10 crore in FY23 to Rs 233.29 crore in FY25, with profit after tax of about Rs 34.70 crore in FY25, as per the RHP. The IPO is a mainboard book-built issue of Rs 500 crore on the NSE and BSE, comprising a fresh issue of Rs 180 crore and an offer for sale of Rs 320 crore by the promoters, and it listed on 26 November 2025. Net proceeds from the fresh issue were earmarked for purchase of land and construction of a new facility at the Mysore property (about Rs 71.9 crore), upgradation of the existing Mysore facility including electrical systems (about Rs 39.5 crore), IT infrastructure upgrades (about Rs 54.6 crore), and general corporate purposes.
