Rajesh Jain, Vaishali Jain, and Pramod Plastic Industries Pvt Ltd. are the promoters of the Company.
Neolite ZKW Lightings has been making automotive lights since 1952 -which, to put it in context, was before most of India's car industry even existed. The company essentially grew up alongside the Indian auto sector, which is a decent origin story for a parts manufacturer.
The ZKW part of the name came later, through a tie-up with Austria's ZKW Group, a well-regarded European lighting supplier that's been around since 1938. The collaboration gave Neolite access to better technology, particularly in LED and advanced headlamp systems, which it needed to stay relevant as global automakers started demanding more from their Indian suppliers.
Today the product range is fairly wide -headlamps, rear lamps, fog lights, and interior lighting for everything from two-wheelers to tractors and earthmovers. It's not just a domestic player either; the company exports to over 90 countries, which is a surprisingly large footprint for a business most people outside the auto components world have never heard of.
Clients include Tata Motors, Honda, Volkswagen, and General Motors, among others. Revenue as of FY25 was around ₹514 crore. The company is still privately held and unlisted.
Most recently, it announced a ₹150 crore facility coming up in Chennai -a sign that it's still actively expanding rather than coasting on its existing base. Whether that translates into a listing someday is unclear, but it's clearly not standing still.
