Scoda Tubes Limited was incorporated in 2008 and is headquartered in Mehsana, Gujarat. It works in the stainless steel tubes and pipes manufacturing sector.
The company manufactures seamless and welded stainless steel tubes and pipes across five product lines, serving sectors including oil and gas, chemicals, fertilisers, power, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and railways. It uses a hot piercing mill for backward-integrated in-house production of mother hollows, and its manufacturing facility is located near the Ahmedabad-Mehsana Highway, about 360 km from Mundra Port. As of December 2024, the company served more than 230 customers and had exported to 11 countries. Samarth Patel is the Chairman and Executive Director.
Revenue from operations rose from Rs 194.03 crore in FY22 to Rs 305.13 crore in FY23 to Rs 399.86 crore in FY24, while profit after tax rose from Rs 1.64 crore to Rs 10.34 crore to Rs 18.30 crore over the same period. The IPO was a mainboard, book-built issue of up to 1,57,14,200 equity shares of face value Rs 10 each, comprising a fresh issue aggregating up to Rs 220 crore along with an offer for sale component, at a price band of Rs 130 to Rs 140 per share, listed on the BSE and NSE. As per the RHP, net proceeds from the fresh issue were proposed to be used for capital expenditure to expand seamless and welded tube production capacity, meeting additional working capital requirements, and general corporate purposes.
