Prostarm Info Systems Limited was incorporated in January 2008 and is headquartered in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. It works in the energy storage and power conditioning equipment sector.
The company designs, manufactures, assembles, and supplies power solution products, including UPS systems, inverter systems, lift inverter systems, solar hybrid inverter systems, lithium-ion battery packs, servo-controlled voltage stabilisers, and isolation transformers, serving industries such as healthcare, aviation, research, BFSI, railways, defence, security, education, renewable energy, information technology, and oil and gas. In FY24, the company served more than 700 customers and had 478 dealers and distributors across 22 branches, 2 warehouses, and 17 states and one union territory, with a lithium battery pack manufacturing capacity that scaled to 100 MWh by December 2023.
Revenue rose to Rs 257.87 crore in FY24 from Rs 230.36 crore in FY23, while net profit rose to Rs 22.80 crore from Rs 19.35 crore over the same period. The IPO was a mainboard, book-built issue entirely comprising a fresh issue of 1.60 crore equity shares of face value Rs 10 each, at a price band of Rs 95 to Rs 105 per share, aggregating to about Rs 168 crore, listed on the BSE and NSE. As per the RHP, net proceeds were proposed to be used for funding working capital requirements (about Rs 72.50 crore), repayment or prepayment of certain outstanding borrowings (about Rs 18 crore), and achieving inorganic growth through unidentified acquisitions along with general corporate purposes.
