Augmont Enterprises Limited was originally incorporated as RSBL Spot Trading Private Limited on October 31, 2012, renamed Augmont Enterprises Private Limited in 2015, and converted into a public limited company on May 27, 2025. It is headquartered in Mumbai and works in the gold and silver bullion sector.
The company operates across the precious metals value chain, covering procurement and refining, bullion trading, digital gold offerings, jewellery manufacturing, international sales and gold-backed financial services. It runs two business verticals through separate platforms: enterprise and international sales through 'Augmont SPOT', used by jewellers, bullion dealers and manufacturers with GST registration, and consumer-facing offerings through 'Augmont Gold For All' along with offline channels. As of August 31, 2025, the company had a presence across 24 states, with refining units in Rudrapur and Mumbai and a jewellery manufacturing facility in Jaipur. It is promoted by the Kothari family, including Ketan Bhawarlal Kothari, Vivek Prithviraj Kothari and other family members.
Revenue rose to about Rs 66,231 crore in FY25 from about Rs 34,949 crore in FY24 and Rs 31,307 crore in FY23, while profit after tax rose to about Rs 227 crore in FY25 from about Rs 76 crore in FY24. This is a mainboard IPO comprising a fresh issue of equity shares of face value Rs 5 each aggregating up to Rs 620 crore and an offer for sale of up to Rs 180 crore by promoter selling shareholders, taking the total offer size to about Rs 800 crore. Of the net proceeds, Rs 465 crore is earmarked for funding working capital requirements for procurement and inventory maintenance and advance margin requirements, with the balance for general corporate purposes. The company may also undertake a pre-IPO placement of up to Rs 124 crore, which would reduce the fresh issue size correspondingly.
