HD Fire Protect Limited was incorporated in April 1997 and is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It works in the fire safety sector, manufacturing fire protection equipment and suppression systems.
The company designs, manufactures and supplies fire protection equipment spanning water, foam and gas-based suppression technologies across eight product categories, serving industrial, commercial, infrastructure and high-risk applications across sectors including oil and gas, power and energy, pharmaceuticals, data centres and warehousing. According to a CRISIL report cited in the DRHP, it was India's second-largest manufacturer of fire protection equipment by operating income and the largest exporter by value in Fiscal 2024, with exports to more than 90 countries. Its past projects include fire protection systems for ISRO's Sriharikota launch pad, Reliance's Jamnagar refinery, the new Indian Parliament building, Saudi Aramco's Ras Tanura Sea Island project and Oman's Integrated Power and Water Plant Project, and it operates two manufacturing facilities in Maharashtra. Repeat customers accounted for over 86% of revenue, with more than half of FY25 revenue from clients associated for over five years. The promoters are Harish Narshi Dharamshi, Kusum Harish Dharamshi, Miheer Sadanand Ghotikar, Parika Miheer Ghotikar and Anik Narendra Dharamshi.
Revenue from operations rose from Rs 324.08 crore in FY23 to Rs 372.95 crore in FY24 and Rs 432.80 crore in FY25, with profit after tax rising from Rs 70.23 crore in FY23 to Rs 87.92 crore in FY24 and Rs 109.55 crore in FY25, as per the DRHP. The IPO is a mainboard book-built issue on the NSE and BSE, structured entirely as an offer for sale of up to 2.63 crore equity shares of face value Rs 5 each by promoter selling shareholders Harish Narshi Dharamshi and Kusum Harish Dharamshi, with subscription expected to open on October 13, 2026 and a tentative listing date of October 20, 2026. As the offer is entirely an offer for sale, the company will not receive any proceeds from the issue.
