Lenskart Solutions Limited (formerly Valyoo Technologies Private Limited) was incorporated on May 19, 2008, and is headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana. It works in the eyewear retail sector as a technology-led, vertically integrated omnichannel company.
The company designs, manufactures, brands and retails prescription eyeglasses, sunglasses, contact lenses and accessories under brands including Lenskart, John Jacobs and Vincent Chase, sold through its app, website and physical stores. Manufacturing is centralised at facilities in Bhiwadi and Gurugram, supported by operations in Singapore and the UAE. As of June 2025, the company operated 2,806 stores globally, including 2,137 in India, and its apps had crossed 10 crore cumulative downloads. It also runs a subscription programme, Lenskart Gold, which had about 68 lakh members as of March 2025. The promoters are Peyush Bansal, Neha Bansal, Amit Chaudhary and Sumeet Kapahi, with Peyush Bansal serving as Chairman, Managing Director and CEO.
Revenue from operations rose 22.6% to Rs 6,652.52 crore in FY25 from Rs 5,427.70 crore in FY24, with the company turning profitable at Rs 297 crore in FY25 compared with a net loss of Rs 10 crore in FY24, as per the RHP. The IPO was a mainboard book-built issue of about Rs 7,278 crore on the NSE and BSE, comprising a fresh issue of Rs 2,150 crore and an offer for sale of up to 12.75 crore shares by existing shareholders including the promoters, priced at Rs 382-402 per share, and it listed on 10 November 2025. Net proceeds from the fresh issue were earmarked for capital expenditure on new company-owned stores (Rs 272.62 crore), lease and rent payments for those stores (Rs 591.44 crore), technology and cloud infrastructure (Rs 213.38 crore), brand marketing (Rs 320.06 crore), and unidentified inorganic acquisitions along with general corporate purposes.
