Black Opal Consultants Limited is headquartered in New Delhi and works in the real estate services sector as a real estate-focused advisory, sales and asset management firm operating under the Black Opal Group.
The company facilitates the sale of residential and commercial properties developed by third-party developers in exchange for brokerage or commission, obtaining exclusive or semi-exclusive marketing and sales rights from developers, with a particular focus on luxury properties. It has partnered with more than 25 developers, including Gaurs Group, SKA, Galaxy, Shapoorji Pallonji, Max Estates and M3M, and has sold over 2,000 units as of its DRHP filing, supported by a network of more than 200 broker associates. The company also offers strategy, marketing, construction management and financial advisory services for real estate projects. The promoters, including Prasoon Chauhan, bring about 18 years of combined experience in real estate and banking.
Revenue rose to Rs 199.05 crore in 2024, with the company reporting profit after tax of about Rs 11.48 crore in FY25 and Rs 4.39 crore for the quarter ended June 2025, as per the DRHP filed with SEBI in November 2025. The IPO is an SME book-built issue of about Rs 55.08 crore on the BSE SME platform, comprising a fresh issue of about Rs 44.09 crore (22,38,800 equity shares) and an offer for sale of about Rs 10.99 crore (5,58,000 equity shares), priced at Rs 185-197 per share, with subscription scheduled for September 29 to October 1, 2026.
